ASP 26th Anniversary Conference
Indigenous Responses to Colonial Incursions

We will be holding a 2-day conference on 23-24 August 2021 to mark the 26th anniversary of the Archaeological Studies Program, University of the Philippines-Diliman (UP-ASP). The theme is in line with the Quincentennial Commemoration of the Filipinos' first contact with Magellan's expedition in 1521. This conference aims to celebrate the responses of the indigenous peoples to Spanish colonialism be it resistance, conformity or a mixture of both. It pays tribute to the persistence of the Filipinos during the Spanish incursion.

You may attend via Facebook Live (no registration needed). You may also register to join through Zoom Webinar.
